Keep On Looking Great with These Makeup Tricks

Every bride wants to look great on their wedding day but even when we started off great, sometimes our makeup just doesn’t want to stay on for the whole event. This is especially true in a warm climate country like ours. Read on to find out how you can help your makeup lasts through the day.

Use a Concealer

First off, use a concealer to hide all of your imperfections. You can use it to cover the dark bags under your eyes and any blemishes on your face. Use it under your eyes, your eyelids, and on your nose. In addition to helping your makeup stays on longer, the concealer will also help to contour your face.

Apply Foundation

Once you have applied the concealer, apply a layer of foundation. Look for a foundation that looks great on your skin - one that doesn’t cake or make you look oily in the photographs.

Use Lip Primer

The primer will help your lipstick stays on throughout the day. Before you apply your lipstick, put on a little bit of cream based concealer on your lips. This will help your lipstick or lip gloss adhere better to your lips.

Use a Neutral Colour on Your Eyelid

Before you apply your eyeliner, just dab a teeny bit of eyeshadow on your eyelid where you usually draw your eyeliner on. Just dab a little bit of the eyeshadow onto the edge of your eyelid. This will make your eyes look brighter and help your eyeliner stays on.

Use a High-Quality Mascara

The only way to ensure you don’t have a running mascara is to buy a high quality and a waterproof mascara so that your makeup is not ruined when you sweat or get teary-eyed. If you don’t already have one, try out, at least, a few different mascaras before your decide on which to use on your wedding day.
